The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data sources consist of school principals, fifth grade teachers, and students. Research instruments include observation guidelines, interview guidelines, documentation, and questionnaires. Data collection techniques use non-participatory observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman interactive model through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Test validity with triangulation. The research results show that internalization takes place through the stages of value transformation, example, and consistent habituation to form discipline, a sense of pride, and an attitude of love for the country. This study aims to analyze the urgency and implementation of affective citizenship in education. Employing a qualitative method through library research, data were collected from literature regarding the work of Michalinos Zembylas and other relevant scholars. Data were analyzed using content analysis and verified through source triangulation. The results indicate that citizenship is not merely an administrative status but an emotional bond involving love, loyalty, and empathy that is crucial in multicultural education. The study concludes that integrating affective dimensions into pedagogy fosters solidarity and inclusive citizenship. It is recommended that educators actively cultivate a classroom climate that facilitates positive emotional engagement among students to strengthen social cohesion in diverse school environments.
2026-03-30T11:25:38+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Civic Society Research and Education: Jurnal Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraanhttps://jurnal.uniraya.ac.id/index.php/JPKn/article/view/4535PERSEPSI GENERASI MUDA TERHADAP LITERASI KEWARGAAN, NILAI KEMANUSIAAN DAN GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP EDUCATION DI ERA DIGITAL2026-04-05T22:41:40+07:00Kusman Rukmanakusmanrukmana@upi.eduAlifa Zahraalifazahra24@upi.eduNaila Nursifa Rohmahnaila22@upi.eduIndah Zahrotunnisaindah42@upi.edu
The rapid development of the digital era requires young people to possess strong civic literacy, humanitarian values, and Global Citizenship Education (GCED) awareness to participate responsibly in society. This study aims to describe young people's perceptions of civic literacy, humanitarian values, and GCED in the digital era. This research employed a descriptive quantitative approach with 46 respondents aged 17–27 years selected through purposive sampling. The instrument used was a closed-ended Likert-scale questionnaire distributed online. Data were collected through an online survey and analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis. Data validity was ensured through item consistency and researcher reflexivity. The results show that young people generally have positive perceptions of civic literacy, humanitarian values, and GCED; however, a gap remains between awareness and actual participation. This study recommends strengthening digital-based civic education and increasing young people's active social participation.
2026-04-04T12:44:12+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Civic Society Research and Education: Jurnal Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan
